Replications and differentiatons originating from one single stem cell. Daughters are partly distinct from cell of origin (since the genome is naturally mutating, mutation rate is increased in tumour cells, and there may be other carcinogens), but we can confirm the original clonality.
Contrast with polycolonal tumours.
